Hungry Bear Media was formed in 2014 and is one of the fastest growing independent television production companies in the UK.

We’ve produced a multitude of quality entertainment content, including Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, Judge Romesh, Bradley and Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad, Jay Blades: Learning To Read at 51, Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof, The National Comedy Awards for Stand Up To Cancer, Jay Blades: East End Through Time, Gladiators and many more. We have secured commissions with every major UK broadcaster, and we continue to build on our track record of working with the best on-screen talent in the business, including Michael McIntyre, Brendan O’Carroll, Romesh Ranganathan, Holly Willoughby, Bradley Walsh, Jay Blades, Katherine Ryan, and Ant & Dec, to name a few.

In 2015, we launched Hungry McBear. The production company, co-owned with Michael McIntyre, produces Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, two of the BBC’s biggest prime time Saturday night entertainment shows.

In 2020, Hungry Jay Media was formed as a collaboration with Jay Blades. The company has quickly produced a string of hits including the moving BBC1 documentary Jay Blades: Learning To Read at 51 and Channel 5’s social history format No Place Like Home, while creating opportunities for new production talent from all backgrounds.
