ABOUT US

Hungry Bear Media is one of the fastest growing independent production companies in the UK. Established in 2014 by Dan Baldwin, Juliet Denison, and Peter Jones CBE, Hungry Bear Media was formed to produce memorable television formats with funny bones. In just three years Hungry Bear Media has produced over 150 hours of high quality entertainment television for all the major broadcasters.

Hungry Bear Media has secured Saturday night commissions on both BBC One and ITV, plus the much coveted Friday night 8pm slot on Channel 4, while continuing to build on our track record of working with the best TV talent in the business. In 2015 we launched Hungry McBear, a production company co-owned with Michael McIntyre, in addition to co-producing programmes and pilots with big talent names including Alan Carr, Brendan O’Carroll, Holly Willoughby, Jimmy Carr, and Ant & Dec.

Hungry Bear Media is currently in production with All Round to Mrs Brown’s for BBC One, daytime quiz Debatable for BBC Two, and comedy panel show Play To The Whistle for ITV. There’s more in store later in the year, including series 3 of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, due to transmit on Saturday nights on BBC One in the autumn.
