Hungry Bear lands two BBC pilots

Hungry Bear Media has landed two BBC pilots – one featuring Mrs. Brown’s Boys star Brendan O’Carroll.

For Facts Sake a co-production with O’Carroll’s indie BocPix, will follow the Mensa-member as he reveals new information and trivia about well-known topics. It will also include members of O’Carroll’s family, who will team up with people in the audience to compete to uncover amazing facts

Hungry Bear is currently looking for members of the public to take part in the format. The indie, which is responsible for BBC1’s Saturday night entertainment format All Round To Mrs. Browns, will produce the show from its Glasgow office

Elsewhere, the Scottish division is to produce CBBC pilot VIParents (w/t). The format will parachute a celebrity into a family to take over the chores and duties from a hardworking parent.
