Montell Douglas is a multi-talented sports star who has competed as an Olympic Bobsledder and Team GB Sprinter. Her highly decorated sporting career has taken her around the world to some of the biggest events in the sporting calendar.

In 2010, Montell won Commonwealth Gold in the 4x100m relay race in Delhi – and holds a European Under-23 Silver Medal in 100m. She also held the British woman’s record for fastest 100m sprint at 11.05 seconds, smashing the previous record which had stood unbeaten for 27 years.

Montell transitioned to bobsledding in 2016, and the following year finished within the Top 10 at her World Cup debut. Her appearance at the Beijing Winter Olympics etched her name into sporting history as she  became the first female UK athlete to compete at both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.

Outside of sports, Montell graduated from Middlesex University with a degree in Psychology. Never one to sit still, she’s also a Physical & Mental Well-Being Coordinator, helping vulnerable families in her community.
